Jumbles English Setters

My husband and I are members of the English Setter Association(U.K.)
and launched the webring "Exclusively English Setters" in February 1998.

So you would like an English Setter?

English Setters are very friendly and often used in hospitals and hospices as "PAT" Dogs. Graham and I have been hooked on them since 1984, when we purchased Misty, our first bundle of fun !!! They need lots and lots of exercise, as most gundogs do, and love water. So "soggy doggies" are very often the order of the day, after a long walk. Keep all your old bathroom towels !!!. Setters are best kept in pairs and it is not advisable to leave them alone for long periods, especially when puppies,as they are boisterous and can be destructive. Chewed shoes, television and video remote controls, refridgerator and telephone cables, chair legs and the latest letters from the postman have been encountered by us over the past years. Their coats need constant grooming and trimming, but to make up for these traits, setters have a warm, loving nature, and their tails wag constantly.
DO NOT consider having a Setter if you are house proud, have a small garden, hate walking and work all day.
Why do you think we have so many rescued English Setters in our house?
